Casey
Casey has been with Veterinary Emergency Hospital since July 2010 as a Veterinary Technician. She holds an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology, and chose to work in the animal industry because she loves the science involved. She also appreciates helping her veterinarian put diagnostic puzzle pieces together to treat and heal pets. Casey enjoys the family/teamwork atmosphere at work and believes Veterinary Emergency Hospital 24-hour service is a fulfilling and necessary commodity in Sioux Falls. Milla Jovovich is Casey's hero [heroine], as Casey puts it, "She is the strongest woman in stardom and has achieved many goals." When it comes to movies, Casey's favorite food is popcorn with milk duds.
Jessica
Jessica started with Veterinary Emergency Hospital in May of 2006. She studied Veterinary Technology at Ridgewater College in Willmar Minnesota. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys camping, hanging out with friends and family, sleeping, going to concerts, traveling and reading.
She shares her household with five cats: Tweak, Oscar, Gilbert, Emmett and Gwen. Jessica has an eccentric streak - she LOVES New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) and she follows them everywhere.
Lacey
Lacey started working at Veterinary Emergency Hospital in April of 2007 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Minnesota School of Business. She has a German Wirehair Pointer named Jackson. Lacey enjoys reading, horseback riding, and driving teams of draft horses.
Nikki
Tammy
Tammy has been a veterinary technician at the Veterinary Emergency Hospital since November, 2000. She started her career early - while in high school she volunteered at her local vet clinic. They hired her on as a kennel assistant. Tammy wanted to help animals when they were sick or hurt, so she went to the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) where she majored in Veterinary Technology and minored in Business. Tammy shares her home with a lab/shepherd mix named Buddy. She also is a Mary Kay consultant. In her spare time, Tammy likes to read, watch movies, hang out with family and friends. She has a few favorites: Marley & Me (both book and movie), and Homeward Bound
Tracy
Amanda
Amanda started as a receptionist with Veterinary Emergency Hospital in September of 2010. She has a B.S. in Applied Management from National American University, and is working on an A.A.S in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys frolicking about with her Chihuahua/Terrier mix, Kita, and a kitten named Steve. When she is not busy with work and school, she enjoys painting, reading, cooking/baking, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Lindsey
Lindsey started working for Veterinary Emergency Hospital in November of 2009 as a receptionist. She has an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Globe University.
She has three cats; Jack, Mikey, and Mosey. Her love of animals is what helped her choose to work in the veterinary field.
Turner and Hooch is her favorite movie containing animals.
A little-known fact about Lindsey is that when she is having fun and laughing, her body vibrates.
